?How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?
We request that you schedule your move as soon as possible to ensure that your car is moved within the time frame which best fits your schedule. However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within 24 hours.
?What method of payments does JP Motorsports, Inc. accept?
JP Motorsports, Inc. accepts Visa, Master Card, money orders, cash or cashier’s checks.
?How do I get a quote?

?What is an oversize fee?
Some vehicles are much larger than traditional passenger vehicles. Most full size SUVs fit in this category. Because of the extraordinary dimensions, these vehicles take up the amount of space normally used for two vehicles and will require an “oversize” fee.
?Where will my car be picked up and delivered?
JP Motorsports, Inc. has over 40 terminals across the country. You can drop off and pick up your vehicle at one of these terminals or your vehicle can be picked up and delivered at a location more convenient for you, like your home or office.
?Do I have to be present when we pick up or deliver your vehicle?
Yes, we request that you, or a designated person, be present upon pick up and/or delivery of your vehicle. An inspection is performed during both pick up and delivery and a contract bill of lading must be signed. If you are unable to be there, please call our Customer Service at 818.381.8313 and we will be happy to help you make other arrangements.
?How do I prepare my vehicle?
Please have no more that 1/2 tank of fuel, remove all personal items from your vehicle, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. For additional tips, see Before You Ship.

Guidelines for Safe Car Shipping
  • Your vehicle must be operable. If it is not, additional fees or methods may apply
  • You must advise us of any modifications made to your vehicle such as 4×4 lift kit, camper shell, vehicle lowered, etc.
  • We must have a working phone number where you may be reached throughout the duration of your vehicle relocation.
  • Transit times will vary depending on the time of year and the origination and destination of your particular move. Your estimated transit time will be indicated on your quote and order confirmation documents.
Preparing Your Car for Shipment
  • The vehicle must have no obvious fluid leaks.
  • Your battery must be secure in the mounting bracket.
  • The vehicle must be clean for inspection.
  • A dirty vehicle decreases the ability to perform a quality inspection.
  • The gas tank must have a minimum of (1/8) tank of fuel, but no more than (1/2) tank of fuel.
  • All alarm systems must be disconnected, disabled or turned off.
  • Radios, cassette decks or CD players not built in, car phones and garage door openers must be removed.

 

  • All antennas must be fully retracted or removed.
  • All personal belongings must be removed (except standard vehicle items such as the jack and spare tire).
  • All exterior spare tire covers, grill covers or car covers must be removed.
  • Plants and hazardous materials are forbidden by law to be transported.
  • One set of ALL keys for the vehicle must be provided.
  • Non-permanent luggage racks, bike racks, or ski racks must be removed.
  • Your vehicle must be prepared for the new climate. This may include engine coolant, transmission oil, and other fluids.
Vehicle Inspection Requirements
  • You or your designated representative must be present for the inspection at the time of pick-up and delivery.
  • The Bill Of Lading and condition report must be signed by you or your designated representative at both origin and destination.
  • You or your designated representatives are responsible for confirming your vehicle’s condition. This must be done before the driver leaves the destination.
  • Damages will be noted by our representative on the Bill Of Lading at origin. In the unlikely event there is additional damage on delivery, it will be noted by our representative on the Bill Of Lading.
